Common Mistake: Just Saying "Write Me an Ad"
Empty prompts produce generic, useless copy. Use the 5-element prompt formula:
Formula: PRODUCT + GOAL + PAIN POINT + TONE + CONSTRAINTS
- Product: What you sell, for whom (one sentence)
- Goal: Click? Sale? Sign-up? Which action?
- Pain Point: Which problem does it solve? In the customer's words.
- Tone: Professional, casual, playful?
- Constraints: Character count? Emojis allowed? How does the brand speak?
Example
"I run an e-commerce store. Managing Meta ads is hard. Write an Instagram ad copy that convinces them to try AdsOptimize. Pain: they waste time. Tone: friendly but professional. Max 90 characters, no emojis."
